Ground-based support data in KASOC

The Kepler Asteroseismic Science Consortium KASC, which is responsible for the coordination of the asteroseismic science done with Kepler data, set up the Kepler Asteroseismic Science Operations Center KASOC. The KASOC website now also hosts a database for ground‐based observations (SpaceInn deliverable D3.11):

  • Contains a list of every single ground-based follow-up observation that has been done on Kepler objects by KASC members
  • 7000+ observations are currently listed
  • Search-interface
  • Upload new observations
  • No actual data is stored, but records whom to contact to get it.
